Tuesday, April 8th - CROATIA & MONTENEGRO - The jagged coast with a thousand islands.  Warm water, colorful villages, castles built by the crusaders, history around every corner, fresh sea food and fun holiday experiences.  Sounds great, right?  But wait, there's more!  Beautiful cascading lakes, forested mountains and lots of great hiking.  Cities of great historical importance.  A day steeped in sunshine and bathed in Mediterranean breezes.  Okay, let's go discover Croatia!  Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Korcula, Ston, Opatija - names along the Dalmation Coastline with the clear blue Adriatic Sea in our view.  But have you heard of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Plitivace Lakes?  Wooded hills enclose 16 turquoise lakes, linked by waterfalls and cascades - wooden footbridges surround and wind through making a great hiking path to enjoy the incredible beauty and serenity of the lakes.  Montenegro, and specifically, the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Bay of Kotor, will surprise and amaze you.  These are the southernmost fjiords in Europe where the mountains come down to the waters edge creating a spectacular and beautiful bay with ancient walled citites, fishing boats, and wonderful relaxing experiences.  We'll also visit the beautiful and famous area of Sveti Stefan.


Tuesday, April 15th - RAJASTHAN - Travel vicariously with Cyndraq Dietz as she shares her pictures of the hills, deserts, temples and palaces of Rajasthan.  Cyndra spent the summer of 2007 exploring the region's famous cities and kingdoms of the Rajput rulers, as well as spent time with the locals teaching English in a small village.  India is a land of superlatives and extremes.  Join Cyndra as she presents a colorful picture of this exotic land!


Tuesday, April 22nd - PERU & BOLIVIA - Experience the wonders of Peru by exploring the highlights such as the incredible ruins of Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail, the charming mountain town of Cusco, trekking in the Colca Canyon and Cordillera Blanca regions, the Nazca Lines, and the city of Arequipa.  Presented by Joel Podgorski, he will take us on a photo journey through Peru and Bolivia providing great travel information and insights into these wonderful destinations.  We will travel with Joel to Bolivia and visit Lake Titicaca - Copacabana & the Isla del Sol.  Joel bikes down the "world's most dangerous road" and hikes the Chorro Trek, as well as, visits the Amazon basin region of Rurrenabaque.  This promises to be an interesting and adventurous journey through Peru and Bolivia.  Come join us for a visit!

Tuesday, May 13th - KAMCHATKA: "RUSSIA'S ALASKA" - Kamchatka is often called "one of the last great unspoiled natural wonders of our world".  The volcanoes of Kamchatka are a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Kliuchevskoi being the tallest on the Asian continent.  It is also one of the finest destinations for rare birds and wildflowers and has the densest population of brown bears (even more than Katmai in Alaska!).  Please join William Blair as he takes us to this "hidden gem" in Russia where he has guided, trekked, explored and fished many times.  Located 4210 miles from Moscow you will be amazed and delighted to discover this beautiful untainted wilderness area.

Tuesday, May 27th - TURKEY - See a variety of the remains of the many early civilizations criss-crossing what is now modern Turkey, as well as fascinating natural phenomena in such places as Cappadocia, where houses have been dug out of the soft cliffs and hillsides.  Have a look at the whirling dervishes and their musicians in a centuries-old caravansary.  Meet locals and wildlife on hikes, swim in the gorgeous blue waters along the Turquoise coast, and sail away with Marilyn Wertheimer on her tour of Turkey!


Tuesday, June 3rd - MEXICO: SAN MIQUEL DE ALLENDE & THE HEARTLAND - This area of Mexico is known for its history, silver mining and natural beauty.  At 6500 feet elevation, the weather is wonderful year round.  Join Wayne Lee as he shares pictures from a photography workshop in San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato.  Experience the beauty of the colonial cities and Mexican culture.  Wayne attempts to capture the beauty and emotions of the Heartland and its peoples through interesting photography shots.  The highlight is the "Blessing of the Horses" festival.  Please join us for an exceptional evening!


Tuesday, June 10th - NEPAL: "EVEREST ROCKS" - Join Boulder resident Peter Braun as he recounts his recent journey to Nepal.  His adventure to Mount Everest base camp includes the highest rock concert ever held.  This fundraiser included rock musicians, cancer survivors and trekkers from around the world.  The event was covered by CNN, Good Morning AMerica, National Public Radio and USA Today.  The team raised over $250,000 for the Nepal Cancer Society and held concerts at Base Camp, Kala Patar, and Kathmandu.  Come see the beautiful scenery and people of Nepal.  Often times, adventurers plan their trips to visit the mountains of Nepal, but it's the Nepalese people who make you want to go back!  Join us tonight for an interesting and exciting show!
