Upcoming “Wandering Wednesday” Travel Shows

(All shows start at 7:00pm and are FREE of charge unless otherwise noted)

----------August 8th: Packing Clinic- Learn the tricks of the trade to packing light!!

*Let us help you this upcoming trip with some of the secrets we use to travel carry on only to any destination in the world, for however long you want. Baggage fees can add up quickly, and so can the stress of checking a bag to a new destination in general.

A little goes a long way, and as they say “Less is more!”. We will show you how much more efficient and effective traveling with just a carry on can be. The less stress you have dealing with your bags allows for more time to soak up your vacation destination- hey, isn’t that the whole point anyway?*

More Travel Shows to come in the Fall! Stay up to date on our website. www.cil.com

Both of these products are light weight and fashioned with waterproof zippers, not to mention they pack down into a sack the size of your hand!

Ever afraid of how much your bag will weigh when you go to check it?- Say it does read overweight, both of these packable bags can be pulled out in one swift movement and used for those flow over items and keep you from paying the overweight baggage fee.

OR

Say you want to go hiking or to the market at your next destination, you’ll need the extra bag, but without the extra weight.

Travel Tip of the Month!

For those who choose to go Where The Wild Things Are.

(Apologies to Maurice Sendak)

  1. Go in a group and make noise, let the animals know you’re there. A good stout walking stick is also a good idea.

  2. If you  come upon an animal unexpectedly, obey the prime directive of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: DON’T PANIC! And don’t run, that sets off a chase prey impulse, and the animal is probably faster and in better shape than you are. So stay calm, pick up any small children, look as large as you can, and slowly leave the area.

  3. Don’t play dead. If the animal is hungry you soon won’t be playing.

  4. If you come across a snake, slowly move away. When it decides you are not a threat it will slither away.

  5. No selfies!

  6. Never get between a mother and her babies. And if you do come upon a baby animal, LEAVE IT ALONE! If you’re worried about it let a ranger know where you saw it.

  7. On safari, obey the guides instructions, they know more than you!

  8. Go forth and have safe and happy adventures!
