What are Blue Zones? – A Blue Zone is an anthropological term for a zone in the world where people typically live longer. The following travel show will talk about one couple’s bike trip in a Blue Zone.
“We bicycle where people live the longest in the world to learn how each of us can make simple changes to our environment that will encourage healthier behavior and habits. For an average American these changes can lead to an extra 12 years of quality life!” - Bruce J.

Travel Tip of the Month!
Making the Best out of the Rainy Season!
Just because your destination has a rainy season, doesn’t mean you should avoid going during that period. Who knows, maybe it will work in your favor. The following tips are ideas to help you enjoy the rainy season of your next destination.
1. Know what kind of rainy season you are going to be facing, it may not leave you soaked and sad. For example, Thailand’s rainy season brings rains that fall at night to leave the beaches clear and skies blue blue blue.
2. In order for us to experience such beautiful landscapes or forests, there has to be rain to see such growth. Venturing during the rainy season, allows you to see the behind the scenes action of everything coming to life once again after a long winter or dry season.
3. WATERFALLS- Waterfalls are stunning on their own, but when they start gushing from all the rain fall, that can be one of the most magnificent and majestic experiences.
4. COST- Since most people plan their adventures to be as perfect as it can, a lot of travelers avoid the rainy season, this allows YOU to grab better deals on flights, hotel packages, and setting yourself up not to wait in lines at tourist attractions.
When planning your next trip, look deeper into the weather patterns of the location rather than what season of the year it is. Take us for example; Boulder tends to have very pleasant and beautiful winters.
These tips are from Lonely Planet’s “Best Travel Tips” written by TOM HALL. This book is available in our store and is filled cover to cover with travel tips that will only aid your experience and adventure.
